B: Yes, you are right. As we know the 8contestants are all fight through a series of fierce competition and finally they come to this stage. To some extend, they are all winners. A:this round is 40 points. every contestant has 90 seconds to prepare and deliver their speeches.

We have 3 rounds in this final competition.It is an elimination game.The winner of each round can keep on competing in the next round. Junior and senior students will be separated to compete.
Round 1,Speech.The 12 competitors from both junior and senior departments will take your own turn to make a speech and then answer the questions that the judges give.Juniors,each of you has 2 minutes to make the speech.And seniors,you have 3 minutes and one minute to answer the questions.In this round, 2 students will be eliminated and the rest 10 students will go into next round.
Round 2,Conversation.The competitors will be divided into 5 groups by drawing lots,then take the topic.Each group will have two minutes to complete the conversation or performance.The judges will mark according to the behavior of you.In this round, four competitors will be eliminated and 6 students will go into next round.
Round 3,Debate.The 6 students will be divided into For and Aginst side,3 people in each side.First,two students in each group will represent your own opinions,one minute for each.Then free debate,3 minutes in total for junior students.At last, the third student in each group will give the final

這里是【2009年中央電視臺(tái) “希望之星”英語風(fēng)采大賽河南賽區(qū)省決賽】的比賽現(xiàn)場,歡迎大家的到來.我是主持人祁永慶(王瑛)。

同時(shí)，很高興為大家介紹擔(dān)任本場晚會(huì)的評(píng)委老師，他們是：【......】
本次比賽是由中央電視臺(tái)主辦,河南洛陽海外聯(lián)誼服務(wù)中心承辦的。那在比賽開始之前,先讓我們一起了解一下本次比賽的規(guī)則和評(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
本次大賽分為三個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)，今天將要進(jìn)行的是第一環(huán)節(jié)即興回答，和第二環(huán)節(jié)才藝表演，這兩部分的比賽。明天上午進(jìn)行第三環(huán)節(jié)，命題演講。那選手的排名是按照這兩天，三個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)所得分?jǐn)?shù)相加，得出最后的總分來排序的。在最后，我們將在明天下午4點(diǎn)半進(jìn)行最終的'頒獎(jiǎng)典禮。
首先選手請(qǐng)按照抽到的序號(hào)，提前做好準(zhǔn)備，依次登臺(tái)。分別進(jìn)行即興回答和才藝展示。這兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)都是限時(shí)1分半，也就是90秒，超時(shí)會(huì)由主持人打斷。我們現(xiàn)場只能為選手提供一個(gè)麥克，在才藝展示的時(shí)候如果選手需要準(zhǔn)備道具的話，我們會(huì)給出20秒的時(shí)間讓你準(zhǔn)備。但是如果準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間超時(shí)的話就會(huì)按違規(guī)棄權(quán)處理。所以請(qǐng)選手把握好時(shí)間!同時(shí)還要提醒選手下臺(tái)后別忘了保存好自己的號(hào)碼牌，明天將不再抽號(hào)，而且選手必須憑借號(hào)碼牌和參賽證才能參加第二天的比賽。
在選手兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)都結(jié)束后，評(píng)委進(jìn)行打分，我們會(huì)去掉一個(gè)最高分，和一個(gè)最低分，剩下的分?jǐn)?shù)相加，就是這位選手的最終得分。同時(shí)為了以示公正，前三位選手的得分情況我們會(huì)在第四位選手結(jié)束后公布，第四位選手的成績將在第五位選手結(jié)束后公布，以此類推。 同時(shí)現(xiàn)場的觀眾朋友們，也請(qǐng)您尊重我們的比賽，不要給選手任何提示，并把手機(jī)調(diào)至靜音狀態(tài)。
