Students, guests , teachers and Honorable Judges:

  Good morning !

My great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....

As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.

I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.

I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.

I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky.

Dear everyone:

  Good evening, everyone!

Throughout my years of being a student, I’ve had many teachers. none of them are the same, but the one that i’ll never forget and will always miss is my chinese bilingual teacher in the middle school i attended in seattle, ms. ho. she was a skinny, but stylish lady in her 50s. she was different from all the other teachers because she gave me something unforgettable.

Ms. ho and i became friends right in the first semester i was in that middle school. at the same time, i was having a really hard time with my subjects. since i had just transferred from a bilingual school, where i had stayed for two months after arriving in the us, my english was horrible; my average grade was below c. i almost thought it impossible to learn english. then, one day she told me she strongly believed that i was capable of controlling my life, and i would be just fine. she said that she found we were much alike: both were stubborn, kind-hearted and a little bit si-mp-le-minded. she believed that i had the quality of becoming wise. she even said that she didn’t have any worries about me, about my not learning english. with her encouragement, i found the strength within myself and began to desire to work even harder. as a result, i soon proved her right, and at the end of the semester,() i got a 3.8 average grade.

Today, I still keep in touch with her, and she still tells me how she believes in me. sometimes, i’d think back, and wonder how I could handle all those things if it wasn’t for her encouragement and trust. could i be the person i am today? then, it struck me: what we need has always been trust and love of others; because these things inspire us to do our best, and to live our life to its fullest.

To sum up, i’d like to say to all of you: let us all appreciate trust and love of others and achieve our full potential in our life!

The Road to Happiness:

It is a commonplace among moralists that you cannot get happiness by pursuing it. This is only true if you pursue it unwisely. Gamblers at Monte Carlo are pursuing money, and most of them lose it instead, but there are other ways of pursuing money, which often succeed. So it is with happiness. If you pursue it by means of drink, you are forgetting the hangover. Epicurus pursued it by living only in congenial society and eating only dry bread, supplemented by a little cheese on feast days. His method proved successful in his case, but he was a valetudinarian, and most people would need something more vigorous.

For most people, the pursuit of happiness, unless supplemented in various ways, is too abstract and theoretical to be adequate as a personal rule of life. But I think that whatever personal rule of life you may choose it should not, except in rare and heroic cases, be incompatible with happiness.

If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common.

Dear teacher and classmates:

I am very glad to make a speech here in this class again! This time, Id like to talk something about English. I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure. When I was seven, my mother sent me to an English school. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.

Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons. On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with different people there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English. I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy. I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. Ill introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Puyang. I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday , it will love me too.

Ladies and Gentlemen: My topic is Honesty:

As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragons tooth. This is a true story.

65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure.

In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragons mouth.

He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20xx, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.

When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct ones error.

Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do. I would like to say to all of my friends: Lets be honest people of good moral character.

  Thank you.

Ladies and gentlemen, teachers, students:

Good morning! Today, I stand here to say goodbye to our alma mater on behalf of all the first three graduates, to say goodbye to the teachers in the third, to say goodbye to the students who get along with each other, and to say goodbye to the unforgettable years. Let us sincerely say to the teachers: Thank you, to the younger generation, the school girls say: hard!

At this moment, I feel very excited, that is, the joy of graduation, but also can not hide unlimited memories and nostalgia. Three years of learning time, a flick of a stroke, but many memories will become the most precious collection of our life: the luxuriant poplar, the wide playground, picturesque corridors, bright classrooms. We must remember the ambitions you and I set up when I entered the school. I must remember the figure of my diligent study and study in the classroom, the library and the laboratory. I must remember the joy of my heart when the teachers inculcation and exercises got a breakthrough, and I must remember that you were the dragon in the sports field. There are too many scenes to live in. These three years of road, we walk hard and happy, three years of life, we have lived a full and beautiful, we flow through tears, but with laughter, we tread thorns, but smell the flowers.

Three years of junior high school life, so that we from a ignorant child, to become a full of teens; never dare to leave the arms of their parents, not afraid of danger, brave to fight. In the past three years, more than 1050 days and nights, my alma mater has been arming me with knowledge. Now, we not only learned the language, mathematics, but also learned physics and chemistry, not only to write the writing, but also to know the molecules and the atoms and all kinds of knowledge. The most important point is to make me more clearly know how to love China, love socialism and safeguard world peace. This is the result of school education, which is the crystallization of teachers efforts.

On the occasion of this graduation, Im grateful to the beautiful alma mater, giving me the wisdom and strength of the knowledge, the power of wisdom and the truth of being a human being. Thank you for the teachings and selfless care of our beloved teachers, and your kindness to us is higher than the mountain, and it is deeper than the sea.

Todays graduation is not only a summing up of yesterday, but also a call for tomorrow. In the future we are going to go to high school to learn. They will also go to university for further education. They will carry guns to defend the border areas of the motherland. They will go up the mountain to look for mines. They will go to factories to complete their work and go to work in vast fields. We will also travel to all parts of the world to New York, Paris and London. But wherever we are, no matter what we do, we will always have a heart to heart. Teachers, please believe that we will keep the fine traditions of the third middle school students in the new places, to fight, to struggle, to create, and never to live up to your trust!

All of the students in the third class, although we have graduated, will continue to study and live here. I hope that you will work hard, unite and love, be civilized and obey the discipline in the future, not only to be a qualified middle school student, but also to work hard to be a useful man of the country.

Finally, we sincerely wish our dear alma mater and beloved teachers: always beautiful! Always young! Happy forever!

Hello everybody:

My name is Tiffany, a Year 2 student from the University of Macau. I am currently an active member of the university Public Speaking Team, president of the Honours College Student Association, and also the vice president of the event department in Marketing Society. I am very active and outgoing. I enjoy being with people, engaged in conversations with them so that I can understand them more. I like public speaking as it can help increase my self-esteem and self-confidence. Aside from public speaking, I am also good at English recitation. I have joined the Macao-wide English Individual Recitation for a number of times when I was studying in the secondary school.

Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.

In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.

It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?

Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.

!Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessary for us to live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. One must understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in another way, have you ever seen a car without a steering wheel on the road? So, act now, my friends, find out what you believe in, find out your anchor in your life, hold on to your steeling wheel

of your car, drive on, and reach your destination.

  Thank you very much.

Have A Dream:

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its belief: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood; I have a dream .....

That one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state suffering from the heat of unfairness, suffering from the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice; I have a dream

That my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character; I have a dream today.

  I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its evii racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and invalidity, one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers;

  I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be gone, every hill and mountain shall be made Iow, and rough places will be made plane and crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
