a very good morning/afternoon to you all,everybody!please allow me make a self-introduction.my name is &&&,coming from &&& high school.i am honoured to have the opportunity to share my ideas about our future with you.my topic is“believe our future!”

for a start,i would like to ask you two questions.“have you thought about your future?”and“what do you believe it will be like?”well,some of you nodded,meaning that you have thought over.great!me too!like you all,i have put great consideration on the questions.after experiencing a lot,i finally come to a belief,that is,we youth will have a bright future,because we have a proud name---chinese.

healthily growing under the five-star red flag and warmly loved by our motherland,we feel very happy.we can receive good education and lead a carefree life without hardship or sadness.we have to admit that we are the happy generation.we suffer less and enjoy a lot.we're the flowers of our motherland and the pillar(棟梁) of the society.

however,we should't forget the duties on our shoulders.although our country is developing rapidly,it is not a developed one.some countries are stronger than our motherland.therefore,we still have a long way to go.we still have much to do.and as students,our main task is to gain more knowledge and skills by taking advantages of our time and working hard at our studies.

fellow students,let's take actions,devoting ourselves to our motherland and reaching our bright future!

the 2015 olympic game has been the most discussed and anticipated event through out beijing ever since beijing bid for it years ago.yet the focus has shifted from ma-ki-ng a promise to ma-ki-ng good a promise after beijing’s successful bid.in my opinion,to bridge the gap between a promise and reality,beijing still has a long way to go.here are some of my ideas on how to fill that gap.

首先,在所有亟待解決的問(wèn)題中,跨越英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)這一難關(guān)至關(guān)重要.學(xué)會(huì)一門語(yǔ)言的關(guān)鍵在于堅(jiān)持不懈.我們到能不能做到讓大多數(shù)國(guó)人在2015年到來(lái)之前都學(xué)會(huì)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)?這一問(wèn)題需要我們不斷努力和嘗試.

first,the speaking of english is far most important than all other difficulties.learning a language takes a long time and a lot of heart ship,it’s not easy.so can we get most of chinese to speak english before 2015?it needs us to try and practice very hard.

其次,交通擁擠一直是困擾北京的老大難問(wèn)題.一輛接一輛車連在一起構(gòu)成的汽車長(zhǎng)龍加之它們不斷排放到空氣中的黑煙這種情景早就給我們留下了深刻的`印象.我相信沒(méi)有一個(gè)國(guó)人愿意把北京的這一面暴露給來(lái)自世界各地的參賽隊(duì)員和新聞?dòng)浾?因?yàn)樗鼤?huì)嚴(yán)重?fù)p壞北京的形象和聲譽(yù).所以,我們必須致力于建設(shè)綠色奧運(yùn)這一目標(biāo).

second,traffic jams have been an age-old headache in beijing,the scenes of long queues of vehicles worming their way inch by inch while discharging dark fumes into the air had given all of us a really bad impression,and i know that none of us wish to show off that side of beijing to athletes and journalists over the world,it would blemish the city’s image and leave a bad reputation.so we have to work real hard on green olympics.

還有,為了各項(xiàng)工作的順利實(shí)施,一個(gè)高-瞻遠(yuǎn)矚的整體城市規(guī)劃必不可少.如果時(shí)間允許,重新設(shè)計(jì)和調(diào)整北京的建筑風(fēng)格會(huì)為構(gòu)建北京的城市特色創(chuàng)造環(huán)境.把東方的精致和西方的宏偉結(jié)合在一起一定會(huì)在眾多建筑風(fēng)格中獨(dú)樹(shù)一幟.要做到以上幾點(diǎn),北京應(yīng)該聽(tīng)取得來(lái)自一流建筑師的建議并作出整體規(guī)劃.

thirdly,to add enchantment to convenience,an over-all city planning is indispensable.if time permits,a redesign of city layout and adjustment of architectural style would provide a better environment for fostering the characteristics,blending oriental elegance with international grandeur,will tower a lot among surrounding architectures.to achieve such effects,beijing shall solicit opinions from first-rate architects and make an overall plan.

盡管如此,要實(shí)現(xiàn)全世界對(duì)北京的期盼,北京還有許許多多工作要做.但我們有信心在2015年到來(lái)之前把北京建設(shè)成為一個(gè)全新的城市.巨大的變化每天都在這個(gè)城市發(fā)生,相信在不遠(yuǎn)的將來(lái),北京將會(huì)成為全世界關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn).世界相信北京,這也是北京申奧成功的原因.我們一定會(huì)抓住這次機(jī)遇并為之全力以赴.今天,我們還沒(méi)有做好準(zhǔn)備,但在2015年到來(lái)之前我們一定會(huì)準(zhǔn)備好!

even though,beijing still has a lot to do to reach the level that the world expects,but we have the confidence to make beijing a brand new city by the year 2015.huge changes are taking places,and not far in the future,beijing will be the focus of all worlds’ attention.the world trusts beijing and that’s why beijing won the bid.we will grasp this opportunity and do our best.we are not yet ready but we will be by the year 2015.
