First of all, making friends online can broaden our vision. People on the Internet are from different places or even different countries. Making friends with various people helps you learn different culture, customs, and living style and so on. Its such a great thing that making friends can make someone becomes more knowledgeable. So why not? However, its disadvantage still exists. Some people focus too much attention on net friends, ignoring the real world. As a result, they may have fewer and fewer friends in their reality life. Gradually they will feel being isolated or depressed. That is not good for peoples mental health.
