一天，又到了英語課。這時候小明是膽戰(zhàn)心驚，因為他并沒有把一個單詞完完整整地記住。但又令他們不幸的是，今天老師來了個突然襲擊——單詞大抽查�！靶∶�，上講臺上去聽寫�！崩蠋熞宦暫暗�，這時候似乎他的心都已經(jīng)涼了一大截。他慢吞吞地走上去，他是多么想回到?jīng)]被抽到時。站在講臺上時，他的雙腿是抖個不停。但在寫單詞時，手更是抖個不停。不一會兒，一些亂糟糟的單詞在他的筆下寫出�！鞍�，他看著自己寫的單詞心想到，今天可真的'是完玩了�！崩蠋熞豢此麑懙膯卧~，似乎頭上都冒著火星。但小明可夠機靈，主動地把手給伸出來。雖然他怕被老師打手心，但他想到是自己沒去記。他是認識到自己的錯誤才主動伸出手的。老師打了他兩板，他咬緊雙牙，眼淚沒流下來。
從此以后，他就開始發(fā)奮地學習。每天晚上學到學校寢室關燈都還不肯休息，就在走廊里讀上一個小時的單詞。早上，不知他什么時候他又從溫暖的被窩里爬了起來，把單詞讀了一個小時才到教室里去早讀。
他開始對英語如癡如迷，空閑時都把單詞掛在嘴邊。英語似乎已經(jīng)融入了他的生活里。如果英語一下子不存在的話，他就會像生了病一樣。
從此以后，他再也沒被老師批評過了。而且他還成了他們班上的一個英語高手。
