上個(gè)月，希望之星昂立英語大賽報(bào)名了！我興奮不已，立刻報(bào)上名，拿到了一個(gè)名額。
報(bào)上名后我才知道，全市有二千多人參加這次比賽，選拔賽后只有500個(gè)晉級(jí)名額，一聽到這個(gè)消息，我馬上像泄了氣的皮球，沒有信心了。那天晚上，輪到我上場(chǎng)了，我從容地走上臺(tái)，勉強(qiáng)把稿子背了一遍，下臺(tái)后才發(fā)現(xiàn)嘴里竟還含著口香糖呢！沒想到公布成績時(shí)我竟然也晉級(jí)了！真讓我又驚訝又高興！
