Dear teachers and dear fellow students,
Hello I'm Xiao Ming from the English Association. First of all I would like to thank you all for giving me this opportunity to speak. Today I stand here to share with you my experiences as a member of the English Association and why I am suitable for the position in the association.
As a member of the English Association I deeply reciate the joy and importance of learning English. Our world is becoming more and more interconnected and English is an essential tool for international communication crucial for our future development. Therefore I hope to inspire more students' interest and passion for English through the activities and projects organized by the association.
As a member of the English Association I actively partite in various English learning activities. I have organized English corners to provide a platform for students to practice speaking and exchange ideas. Additionally I have partited in English speech contests and achieved excellent results. Through these activities I have improved my English proficiency and developed leadership skills and teamwork spirit.
If I have the honor of being elected as a member of the English Association I will strive to enrich the diversity of association activities to meet the different levels and needs of English learning for students. I plan to organize more English corners and discussion sessions to encourage students to open up and express their thoughts and opinions in English. Furthermore I will introduce interesting and practical English learning projects such as English movie reciation and English writing contests to stimulate students' learning interests.
At the same time I also hope to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between the English Association and other schools or regions. Through friendship activities exchange visits and cooperative projects with other schools we can broaden our horizons and enrich the content and methods of English learning.
Finally I want to say that I believe everyone has unlimited potential and opportunities. As a member of the English Association I am willing to listen to the voice of every student pay attention to everyone's needs and help everyone fully tap into their potential. Through my efforts I hope to bring more positive energy to the English Association and create a better learning environment and opportunities for students.

To ensure our members are well-equipped for future challenges I will collaborate with professionals in the field and invite guest speakers to share their experiences and expertise. Workshops and seminars on topics like public speaking writing skills and effective communication will be organized regularly to empower our members to succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
In addition I understand the significance of a positive impact beyond the English Society. I will actively seek collaborations with other student organizations as well as local schools to organize community service projects that promote English literacy. By doing so we can contribute to the betterment of society and make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
Lastly I am committed to listening to your ideas concerns and suggestions. As the President I will ensure an open-door policy and regular meetings where members can voice their thoughts and be involved in the decision- process. I firmly believe that together we can achieve greatness and make our English Society the best it can be.
