Salary or Interest
Upon graduation, virtually all college students will confront the problem of choosing their careers. It is truly a tough choice. Students’ opinions differ greatly on this issue. Some hold that priority should be given to their interest in the job, but others take the attitude that salary is the most critical factor influencing their career choices.
As for myself, I prefer the latter view. A well-paid job exerts a tremendous fascination on a great number of people, with no exception to me. Although it might be impossible to measure the value of one’s job in terms of money, salary counts most when I choose my future career. In my view, our career choices largely depend on how and where we have been brought up. I come from a poor urban family and my parents are both laid-off workers. In order to finance my tuition, they have been working hard over the past four years. As the only son in my family, I have to shoulder the burden of supporting my family.
In short, salary is the first consideration in my choice of career.

Starting Career in a Big City or Small Town
Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when he starts his career. Some prefer to stay in the big cities after graduation. To them, big cities mean more experiences, more opportunities to see the big world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation.
But some other graduates want to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier.
As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a big city like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.

Specifically，(具體描述)The average hours for use of library for study per week in 2002 was about twenty hours while it declines to about 12 hours per week in 2006. Certainly, the large use of computers and Internet has contributed in a large part to the change. The wide spread of Internet has drawn a large number of students from libraries to computers for their study. While the use of Internet has brought great convenience to students it also highlights the problem of study efficiency. Many students, when searching information and materials on Internet, can not truly concentrate on their study. They use Internet to conduct on-line-chat, play computer games, or even worse, to visit those unfriendly websites full of sex and violence. Before all these problems are solved, I believe, library would still be the best place for study. (評論：negative effects)
