1. Pool，常取其“匯”之意，有時用法和 channel 接近
把…集中一起用，共用;把(錢等)投入成為集合資金;(運輸機構(gòu)等)聯(lián)合經(jīng)營;均分(業(yè)務(wù)等)：
They pooled their money to buy a house.
他們集資買房。
二是發(fā)揮大眾創(chuàng)業(yè)、萬眾創(chuàng)新和“互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+”集眾智匯眾力的乘數(shù)效應(yīng)。

例：
The decision has been made and I have got to stand by it.
這個決定已經(jīng)作出，我得堅持它。

4. Sound 除了聲音之外還有“健康的，強壯的;正常的;健全的” 等意思，因為這類詞都是滿滿的積極意義，所以時政公文漢譯英常會用到。
簡單來說，可以用 good 的地方有時候都可以用 sound (不絕對).
