Nancy is an English school girl. She studies in a middle school. She has a little brother. His name is John. John is only four. Nancy likes him very much.
Today is Sunday. Nancy wants to do her homework. She takes out her pencil-box and opens it. “Oh, dear! Where’s my pen?” She can’t find her pen. She goes to ask her brother in his bedroom.
“John! I can’t find my pen. Can you see it? Oh, what are you doing with my pen? ”
“I’m writing to my friend, Peter.” John answers.
“But how can you? You don’t know how to write! ”
“It doesn’t matter. Peter can’t read. ” John says.

We go shopping(購物)on Sundays. I often go to the supermarket(超級市場)with my mother on Sunday morning. My father likes apples very much. We buy some red apples for him. Mum likes yellow bananas, but they’re green. “Look! The strawberries are very nice, mum. Do you like them?” “Yes.” Mum says and buys some for herself(她自己). The oranges are very nice. My mother buys some for me.
We need some vegetables. The vegetables in the supermarket are very good. We buy some tomatoes and carrots. I don’t like tomatoes, but my parents like them. I like carrots.
After shopping, mum and I have some hamburgers, milk and ice-cream. And then we go back home with the fruit and vegetables.
