In the U.S. Mothers Day is a holiday celebrated on second Sunday in May. It is a day when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts, and flowers. First observance in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1907, it is based on suggestions by Julia Ward Howe in 1872 and by Anna Jarvis in 1907.

我的母親是一個善良和溫柔的女人。她總是很溫柔。她細(xì)心地照顧孩子并使他們都在學(xué)校。我有兩個兄弟和兩個姐妹。所以她總共有五個孩子。她給我們每一個舒適，我們需要。我們都很愛她。
我的母親有太多的事要做，在給我們帶來了。我們不是一個富裕的`家庭，母親總是必須做很多工作。她很早就起床和睡覺每天很晚。她工作很努力，但沒有抱怨。
我的母親也是一個節(jié)儉和勤勞的女人。她節(jié)省每一分錢，她可以把一切都為了。她從小就忙著的時候，她看上去比實際年齡老。她的臉布滿皺紋，頭發(fā)變成銀白色，她的一些牙齒松動。但她和往常一樣努力工作。
我媽媽經(jīng)常對我們說，“工作時工作，玩樂時玩樂。如果你沒有工作，你將變得懶惰，對社會也沒有用。”這是個好建議!我們必須得始終保持它在我們的腦海中的價值。

Today is Mothers Day. I know some of my classmates are going to help their mothers with the housework, others are going to buy some flowers for their mothers. I want to say to her that I love her very much. But as a boy, it is a bit difficult for me to show my heart. I think only girls can do that.
My mother is very kind. She takes care of me day and night. She spends little money, but buys anything for me that I need.
This time I must show my love. I am going to give her a card and write like this, "I love you, mother!" I am going to put it under her pillow.
今天是母親節(jié)。我知道一些同學(xué)打算幫媽媽做些家務(wù)，還有一些同學(xué)打算給媽媽買些花。我只是想對媽媽說一聲，我非常愛她。但是對我來說這樣表達(dá)我的情感有點兒難，因為我是個男孩。我覺得只有女生才這樣做。
我媽媽是個非常善良的人。她對我照顧得無微不至。她自己很少花錢，但能給我買我需要的任何東西。
這次我一定要表示我對她的愛。我打算送她一張寫有“我愛你，媽媽”的.卡片，我還打算把它放在她的枕頭下面。
