定冠詞the的習(xí)慣用法
�、倌臣胰嘶蚰撤驄D一般用the+復(fù)數(shù)。如：the Smiths
�、诒硎菊麄�(gè)民族或族人一般加the。如 the Chinese/English
�、凵贁�(shù)山脈群島也不用the。如Mount Tai。如名詞中有of短語(yǔ)則一般有the.如：the Mountain of seven sighs.
�、苤袊�(guó)的`湖泊一般加 the。如：the West Lake.
�、輙he+adj表示類別。如：the rich.
�、弈甏�，年齡的約數(shù)前常用the。如：in the 1950s,in his teens.
�、弑碛�(jì)量單位用the含有“每”、“每一”

泛指節(jié)假季節(jié)星期幾，球棋、呼語(yǔ)與餐名；
刊物、公告與標(biāo)題，普通名詞并列緊相鄰；
唯一職位，學(xué)科與語(yǔ)種，洲、國(guó)、省、市、縣街路名。
