　　Nancy and Tessa are talking about the new neighbors.

　　南希和特薩在議論新搬來(lái)的鄰居。

　　Nancy:Looks like you landed yourself some new neighbors!Okay, let's get down to brass tacks. What's the dirt on them? I mean, you did go over and break the ice already, didn't you?

　　南希：看來(lái)你終于有新的鄰居了!好吧，我們來(lái)說(shuō)點(diǎn)正經(jīng)的。你知道那家人的底細(xì)嗎?我是說(shuō)，你去跟他們打招呼了沒(méi)有?

　　Tessa:I'll say. I popped in on them right after the last stick of furniture was lugged into the house. I sized them up real fast. Take it from me, they're kind of off-the-wall. He's okay but as for her, the lights are on but nobody's home, I don't mean to put her down, but the lady's a trip! She's sort of a cold fish, too.

　　特薩：那當(dāng)然。他們一搬完家具，我就去串門子了，也沒(méi)事先打招呼。我估量得沒(méi)錯(cuò)，說(shuō)真的，那家人有點(diǎn)怪。男的還可以，就是那個(gè)女的，好像不太聰明.不是我說(shuō)她壞話，她怪得很!冷冰冰的，像條死魚。

　　Nancy:Well,try to go easy on her. She was probably pretty crazed. I mean,moving is no picnic. Once they've had a chance to pull it together, I bet they do they look turn out to be real nice. All right. Let's cut to the chase. What do they like?

　　南希：噯!讓她去吧，別放心上。她可能是忙昏了頭。我是說(shuō)，搬家可不是件輕松的事。我敢說(shuō)，等他們收拾好了。你就會(huì)覺(jué)得他們蠻好的。好吧，我們說(shuō)點(diǎn)關(guān)鍵的吧，他們長(zhǎng)得怎么樣?

　　Tessa:I have to admit it. She's a knockout. I'm telling you.She's got a figure that won't quit- She's stacked. And you should see him... a total hunk- He looks like your typical jock.

　　特薩：這我不得不承認(rèn)，那女的長(zhǎng)得可真是絕頂漂亮.一點(diǎn)兒也不騙你，那身材真棒，胸部豐滿極了。還有那個(gè)男的，你也該看看……好健美，就像你說(shuō)的那種標(biāo)準(zhǔn)運(yùn)動(dòng)員身材。

　　Nancy:You know, I'm starting to hate their guts.

　　南希：你知道嗎，我開始討厭他們了。
