　　交換三明治

　　Two attorneys went into a diner and ordered two drinks.

　　有兩位律師走進(jìn)一家小餐廳。點(diǎn)了兩份飲料。

　　Then they produced sandwiches from their briefcases and started to eat.

　　然后他們就從他們的公文包當(dāng)中拿出三明治開始吃。

　　The waiter became quite concerned

　　and marched over and told them,"You can't eat your own sandeiches in here!"

　　兔子和狼

　　A little rabbit is picking mushrooms in a forest. A wolf is coming. He is very hungry. “Oh, a little rabbit! This is my favourite food!”

　　一只小兔子正在森林里采蘑菇，一只狼來了，他很餓。“哦，一只小兔子!這是我最喜歡的食物!”

　　The rabbit sees the wolf, but she is not afraid. She pretends to be poisoned by the mushrooms. The wolf thinks, “If I eat her, I will be poisoned, too.” So he goes away.

　　小兔子看見了狼，但是她并不害怕。她假裝吃蘑菇中毒了。狼想到：“如果我吃了她，我也會(huì)中毒的.。”所以他走開了。

　　Then the rabbit is very happy. She goes on picking the mushrooms.

　　小兔子非常高興，她繼續(xù)去采蘑菇。

　　一個(gè)愚蠢的人

　　A man in ancient times thought he was clever, but he always did foolish things.

　　古時(shí)候，有一個(gè)以為自己很聰明，但是他總是干傻事。

　　One day, he saw a beautiful bell. It was at the top of a door. “Oh, how nice! I will take it home. ”he said to himself. He thought hard. Then he had a “good” idea. “Aha! I can plug my ears. I will not hear the ring.”

　　有一天，他看見一個(gè)漂亮的鈴鐺掛在一戶人家的門上頭。“啊，好漂亮!我要把它拿回家去。”他自言自語道。他使勁地想，然后想到了一個(gè)“好”主意。“哈!我把耳朵堵上，就聽不到鈴聲了。”

　　He did so, but the bell rang. The owner opened the door and asked angrily, “What are you doing here?”

　　他這樣做了，但是鈴鐺響了起來。主人打開門，生氣地問道：“你在這兒干什么?”
