少兒英語小故事:口渴的烏鴉
A crow feels very thirsty. He flies to a water pot, but the pot is almost empty. He tries his best but in vain. Then he tries to push the pot over so that the water can flow from the pot. But he cannot move the pot. Just then, he thinks up a better method: one by one he puts into the pot. With each stone(increases), the water level gradually increases. At last, the crow drinks the water and satisfies his thirsty.
烏鴉口渴得要命,飛到一只大水罐旁,水罐里沒有很多水,他想盡了辦法,仍喝不到。于是,他就使出全身力氣去推,想把罐推倒,倒出水來,而大水罐卻推也推不動(dòng)。這時(shí),烏鴉想起了他曾經(jīng)使用的'辦法,用口叼著石子投到水罐里,隨著石子的增多,罐里的水也就逐漸地升高了。最后,烏鴉高興地喝到了水,解了口渴。
This story means: wisdom is beyond strength.
這故事說明:智慧往往勝過力氣。
