An old man dies. He leaves his son a lot of money. But the son is a foolish young man, and he quickly spends all the money. Of course, when that happens, all his friends leave him. When he is poor and alone, he goes to see a kind, clever old man. The old man often helps people.
一位老人死了。他留給他的兒子一大筆錢，但這個(gè)兒子是個(gè)愚蠢的年輕人，他很快把錢全部花光了。當(dāng)然，這個(gè)時(shí)候，他的朋友 也就全都離開他了。在他非常貧窮和孤獨(dú)的時(shí)候，他去找一位善良、聰明的老人，這位老人經(jīng)常幫助別人。
“I have no money and I have no friends,” says the young man, “What sill happen to me?”

“Don’t worry, young man,” answers the old man, “everything will soon be all right. Wait and you will soon feel much happier.”

The young man is very glad. “Am I going to get rich again then?” he asked.
這位年輕人很高興�！笆遣皇俏視�(huì)很快重新富起來?”他問道。
“No,” says the old man, “You will soon get used to being poor and having no friends.”
“不，”老人說：“你很快就會(huì)習(xí)慣于貧窮和沒有朋友的生活�！�
